Eddie Bill Hamilton
OAK HILL — William Edward “Eddie Bill” Hamilton, 59, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Eddie was born on Feb. 21st, 1953, to the late William and Mary Hamilton of Dempsey. He was one of 13 children.
His brothers are Danny (Becky) of Ansted, David (Diane) of Harper’s Ferry, Mike of Oak Hill, Randy of Belle; his sisters are Linda Weant, Alpha Treadway and Mary Blethen (David) all of Oak Hill, Kathy Neal (Eric) of Prudence, Ginny Hamilton, Diane Spaudling (Keith) all of Troutman, N.C., Brenda Gunther (Gary) of Orlando, Fla., and a half brother, Jackie Baughan.
Eddie is loved and survived by five children, a son, Christopher of Oak Hill, four daughters, Elizabeth, Rachel and Emily all of Ashburn, Va, Kimberly Lynn (Christopher) of Texas.
Eddie will be greatly missed by a great wealth of nieces and nephews.
Eddie Bill was a fun-loving “Santa Claus” who never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family on Laurel Creek where he grew up. Eddie was always willing to help a person in need.
Eddie Bill’s remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Hamilton family would to thank Dr. Scott Keffer, staff at Plateau Medical Center, Fayette Continuous Care and Bowers Hospice House of Beckley for the exceptional care Eddie was given.

Mary Kathleen ‘Kat’ Justice
Mary Kathleen “Kat” Justice of Daniels, 89, passed away at the Beckley Appachian Regional Hospital in Beckley on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.
Born on Feb. 17, 1924 in Pike County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Henry Ruble and Armintha Roberts.
Mrs. Justice was a former owner and operator of several businesses in Oceana, the Roberts Motel, Guyan Grille and Archie’s Restaurant.
She was a member of the Oceana First Baptist Church, and had made her home at Daniels since 1989, having lived most of her life in Oceana.
Mrs. Justice was preceded in death by brothers, James Creska, Buster Roberts and “Judge” Roberts, and a sister, Henrietta “Ret” Lamb.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband, Willard Justice; two daughters, Barbara Cochran and her husband, Tom, of Daniels, Vivian Hunt and her husband, Earl, of Concord, N.C.
Sister-in-law, Bronia Roberts of Aurora, Colo.
Three grandchildren, Wendy Campbell and her husband, Pete, of Castle Rock, Colo., Leslie Minor of Cool Ridge and Monica Moss of Daniels. Seven great-grandchildren, Isaiah, David and Amelia Campbell, Cody and Allie Minor, Megan and Breeann Moss.
Special friends, Elsie Cochran, Betty Haynes, Ruth Rollins, Opal Spears and Eleanor Puckett.
Mrs. Justice was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be conducted to Celebrate The Life Of Kathleen “Kat” Justice on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. at 11 a.m. at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel with Rev. Jerry Cook officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens at Princeton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
