Margaret Anne Robertson Bowyer

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Margaret Anne Robertson Bowyer, 73, of Augusta, died on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Born July 3, 1939, at Glen White, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Leonard Preston and Glidys Rachel Daniels Robertson.

She was a member of the Helen Baptist Church.

Anne was a devoted and loving wife, loving mother and caregiver to many. She always put the interests of others ahead of her own needs. She was a friend to many and loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking, especially during the holiday.

She was one of seven children including the late Leonard, Jane, Mary, Wilma, Virginia and John, with two brothers, Leonard “Bucky” Robertson and John R. Robertston, surviving.

Anne was the beloved wife for 55 years to Donald Eugene Bowyer, mother of William E. Bowyer of Augusta, Ga., Michael P. Bowyer of Raleigh, N.C., Karen B. Crawford of Norfolk, Va., and David S. Bowyer of Norfolk, Va., and six grandchildren, Kristin Crawford, W. Patrick Bowyer, Alexandra Crawford, Michael Bowyer, Robert Bowyer and Kayla Bowyer.

She will also be missed by very special relatives including brother-in-law, Bill R. Bowyer of Ghent, daughter-in-law, Judy C. Bowyer of Augusta, and son-in-law, Neal Crawford of Norfolk, Va.

Graveside rites and committal services will be on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 12 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with Pastor Harmon Davis officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.

Pamela Sue Dillon

With her family and two close friends by her side, the angels came and took our dear Pamela Sue Dillon to Heaven on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She went to be with her Lord and her loved ones.

Pamela was born in Illinois on February 22, 1960. She had been sick for a long time and could no longer do the things she loved. Things like raising her garden, working in her flowers and cooking. She also loved taking care of her two dogs, Courtney and Katie. As a fan of country and gospel music she played CDs quite a lot which gave her a great deal of peace.

Her paternal grandparents, Mark and Lilly Newhouse, maternal grandparents, Blair and Georgia Dillon, several aunts and uncles and three very special people in her life, Mamie Casey, Wilford Adkins and Gary Fannin, all preceded her in death as did her biological parents, Wallace Jack and Vona Louise Newhouse Dillon.

Survivors include her loving mother Carol Adkins of Cirtsville, who was by her side throughout, brothers, Christopher Adkins of Cirtsville and John Mullens of Cirtsville, sister, Debbie Holmes of Oak Hill, and a nephew, C.J. Bowyer of Oak Hill.

She is also survived by an aunt whom she loved very much, Carolyn Newhouse of Kincaid, an uncle, John Dillon of Page, as well as Russell and Debbie Walker of Kincaid, Jenny and Gary Taylor of Kincaid, Thomas Dillon of Kincaid, Russell Walker Jr. and wife, Stephanie, and their girls of Kincaid and two little nephews, Andrew and Hunter of Kincaid.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill, with Pastor Ken Souder officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.

Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, on Friday, November 23, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m.
