OAK HILL — Daisy Mae Pack, 63, of Oak Hill, passed away Satursday, April 13, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Henry Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Bibb Cemetery, Gatewood.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Richard Luster Pence
LINDSIDE — Richard Luster Pence, age 79, of Lindside, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton.
Born March 26, 1934, at Greenville, W.Va., he was the son of the late Everette Luster and Genetta Bradley Pence.
Richard was a member of the Lindside United Methodist Church where he served in various positions. He was retired from the Celanese Corp. after 39 1/2 years of service and was involved in numerous community activities and organizations.
Richard also served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his step mother, Kate McDaniel Pence.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 56 years, Frances Marie Meadows Pence, two daughters, Cindy Vest and husband Loyd of Lindside, and Valerie Marcin and husband Robert of Walkersville, Md., one sister, Louise Biggs and husband Harry of Lindside, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, with Rev. Brent Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Swope Cemetery, Lindside.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
