Funeral services will at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 211 S. Heber St., Beckley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Melton Mortuary Chapel, 1200 Harper Road, Beckley. The Trisagon prayer service will be at 8 p.m. at the mortuary. The burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Edna E. Liberatore
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — Edna E. Liberatore of White Sulphur Springs passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her home.
She was born December 23, 1931, in Zenith, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Earl and Faye Neel Shires.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Elwood, Alvin, Kyle, and Jarrel Shires and her sister Gladys McCormick.
Edna is survived by her husband Anthony (Tony) Liberatore, her son Richard Brown and his wife Cookie, stepmother Ada Maxine Bell, brother Donald Shires, Stepchildren Rita, Laura, Ralph and Tony. There are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs with Father Chapin Engler officiating. Interment will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
