James C. Beard
James Christopher “J.B.” Beard, 89, rejoined his loved ones, daughter Jane Ann Beard, brother, Joe Woods Beard, and sister, Alice Lee Massie, on September 23, 2013.
Born to John G. and Annie Beard on December 5, 1923, J.B. was a lifelong resident of Beckley.
J.B. graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1941 and went on to become the Administrator of Wyoming General Hospital from 1953-1983. He was a devoted husband and father, committed to his family, making sure that all knew of his love and support and he touched the lives of everyone he met with his generous spirit.
