Margaret Ann Fink Gunnoe

DANESE — Margaret Ann Fink Gunnoe, 89, of Danese, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014, at her home, following a short illness.

Born January 13, 1925, at Layland, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Ellen Krause Fink.

Margaret was a member of Green Valley Methodist Church of Danese, and she loved to cook for family and friends. She had worked as a medical lab technician in the health care industry for 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, James Edward Gunnoe, and three brothers, Arnett, George, and Eugene Fink.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years, Bernard M. Gunnoe of Danese; a sister, Louise Wischman (James) of Waterford, Mich.; two sisters-in-law, JoAnne Cole of Racine, Ohio, and Mary Ethel Douglas of Union City, Tenn.; many nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with Pastor Daniel Legg officiating, assisted by Rev. Sherman McCombs. Burial will follow at High Lawn Cemetery, Oak Hill.

Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested you donate to your favorite charity in Margaret’s name.

Joseph Anderson ‘Joe’ Harvey

LYNCO — Joseph Anderson “Joe” Harvey, 84, of Lynco, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014.

Joe will be cremated, and there will be no public services at this time.

Steven Edward Hawley

Steven Edward Hawley of Crab Orchard passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, following a short illness. He was 46 years of age.

Steven Edward Hawley was born October 21, 1967, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Bobby Gene Hawley and the late Eleanor Ann Smith Hawley. His brother Michael Gene has also preceded him in death.

Steven will be remembered for his love of music, mechanics, travel and fishing.

In addition to his father, Bobby Gene Hawley, those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Ann, his daughter Heather Ann Spencer and companion Antonio Patterson, Heather’s mother Tonya Spencer, his sister Crystal Lynn Gill and her children Hayley Ann and Jalynn Grace, his brother David Wayne Hawley and his wife Mary, and his grandson Zayden.

Steven will be sadly missed by many friends and loved ones.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 1 p.m. we will honor the life of Steven with a “Service of Remembrance” at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Roger Pauley will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearer will be Brett “Doodle” Combs.
