Grace Moore Beverly
WYOMING — Grace Moore Beverly, 87, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 17, 2014.
Born October 8, 1926, at Hellier, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Woodson Moore and Rachael Arnold Moore.
She enjoyed traveling, visiting family and being with the babies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Ray Beverly; a son, Allan Nadeau; two sisters and two brothers.
She was the mother of Danny Nadeau of Boston, Mass.; Robert and Shelia Moore of Kimball; Ricky and Sharon Lambert of Green Camp; Karen Haynes of Skin Fork and Dennis Moore of Bolt.
She is also survived by a brother and two sisters: Alvin and Carol Porterfield of Virginia, Betty Moore of Kimball and Jackie and Connie Moore of Kimball; five special grandchildren: Kathy Moore and Robert Moore Jr. both of Northfork; Jamie Green and JR Haynes both of Skin Fork; and Marissa Moore of Bolt; four special great-grandchildren. Everyone was her baby.
A celebration of Grace’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. — Kaleb M. Cooper, age 8, son of Justin and Elizabeth Cooper, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014.
Besides his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory sisters, Lillian and Morgan Cooper; brothers, Jonathan and Nickolas Cooper; grandparents, Ed and Cindy Cooper of Kentucky, Stephen and Karen Piotrowski of Hilltop, W.Va., and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at Vision Valley Baptist Church, 850 Fisher Lane, Mt. Washington, Ky.

LEWISBURG — Fred B. Neely Jr., 92, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at the Springfield Center in Lindside, W.Va.
Born Dec. 18, 1921, at Alderson, W.Va., he was the son of the late Fred B. Sr. and Hagelton Baber Neely.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Karl Neely; a granddaughter, Tracey A. Neely; a brother, Robert Neely, and sisters, Frances Hibbert and Louise Lightner.
He was a member of the Clifton Presbyterian Church in Maxwelton serving as an elder and deacon. He was owner of Neelys Plumbing, Heating and Sheet Metal.
Mr. Neely was a member of Greenbrier Barber Shop Quartet and a member of the Maxwelton Ruritan Club.
Survivors include a son, Walter (Gloria) Neely of Lewisburg; a daughter, Wanda Ward of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Virginia Warren of Lewisburg; and a granddaughter, Patricia L. Hager of Christiansburg, Va.
A private graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Janice Johnson and Rev. Cam Harkness officiating. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Clifton Presbyterian Church at Maxwelton.

Howard Elwood Pennington
EAST KINGSTON — Howard Elwood Pennington, 78, of East Kingston, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness.
Born May 8, 1935, at Collinsdale, W.Va., he was the son of the late Oscar and Mona Conley Pennington.
Howard was a retired coal miner having been a main line motor operator.
A longtime guitar picker, he attended the Willis Branch Community Church.
His wife Sylvia Jean Wriston Pennington preceded him; also by a son, Willard Pennington, brothers Walter, Delbert, Elbert, James, Kenneth, Luther and Sherlie “Basil” Pennington and sisters Sarah Scott and Mable Barrett.
Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Toney of East Kingston; and six sons, Jackie Pennington and wife, Brenda, of Oak Hill, Eddie Pennington of Dothan, Frankie Pennington and girlfriend, Jennifer, of Dothan, Johnny Pennington and wife, Dee Dee, of Scarbro, Benjamin Pennington and wife, Ethel, of Hilltop and Westley Pennington and wife, Sarah, of Scarbro.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lori, J.J., Teaira, Harley, Shana, Trevor, Matt, Frankie Lee, Tiffany K., Barry, Lydia, Jeffrey, Justin, Paul, Alyana, Nicholas, Anthony, Luke and Stacey, and two great grandchildren, Preston and Levi, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Lum Toney officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, on Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Johnny Lee Williams, 57, former Fed Ex employee, died Monday, Jan 13, 2014.
Born in Beckley, W.Va., he was the son of the late Robert Otis and Una Blanche Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Bridget Ann Williams of Beckley; siblings, Carol Crawford of Lexington, Ky., Michael Otis (Mary) Williams of Beckley, Timothy (Carol) Williams of Delaware.
Johnny’s request was to be cremated. No services are scheduled.
