Patricia I. Hensley
Patricia I. Hensley, 66, of Beckley went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Born December 30, 1945, in Plainville, KY, she was a daughter of the late James A. Hill and the late Freda Bolen Hill Dixon.
Pat loved music and to sing. She also loved helping and taking care of others and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Everett Dixon; sister, Ruby Whalen; and a niece, Andrea Whalen.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 11 years, Carl A. Hensley of Beckley; a son, Kevin McKendree and wife, Karen, of Glen Fork; a daughter, Melissa Lusk Sturgill and husband, Randall Jr., of Basin; stepchildren, Tammy Hensley Daniels and husband, Phillip, of Beaver, Scott Hensley and wife, Gina, of Beaver, Lenora Hensley of Pax, and Leah Hensley of Beckley; sisters, Ann Osbourne of Narrows, VA, and Betty Austin and husband, Kenneth, of Grandview; brother, Jimmy Hill and wife, Jeannie, of Peterstown; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her beloved four-legged friend, Ginger; extended family and a host of friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Rev. Frankie Lyons officiating. Following the services Pat will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Kevin McKendree II, Randall Sturgill Jr., Fred Kinder, Kenneth Austin, Scott Hensley, and Joshua Gordon will be serving as pallbearers. Phillip Daniels and Norm will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 12 p.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

LEWISBURG — Nellie Virginia Brant Simms, 86, of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte, with the Rev. Mike Estep officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Delilah Marie Steele
Delilah Marie Steele, 25, of Glen Morgan, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 31, 2012.
Born October 3, 1986, in Charleston, she was the daughter of Ollie Frances McKinney of Beckley and the late Lonnie Steele. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lonnie Dorsel Steele, and aunt Lucy Burnette.
Delilah was a pretty girl who was loved by everybody and will be greatly missed by everyone. She loved camping, baby-sitting, animals and her mother.
In addition to her mother she is survived by a brother, Ronnie Lee McKinney of Beaver; half brother, David Steele of Hinton, WV; grandmother, Joanne McKinney of Glen Morgan; grandparents, Barbara and Kenny Meadows; very special friends, Tiffany Flannery, Johvan Davis and their son Rashad, Darrell Reeves and Mabel Reeves, Abby Miller whom Delilah was the caregiver for; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Waddell officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to her mother, Ollie McKinney.
