Mrs. Antoinette Lash, 64, of Beckley, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.

Helen Morgan

MAN — Helen Morgan, 82, of Man, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Big Spring Missionary Baptist Church at Mallory with the Rev. John Cain and the Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services at the church.

Dorothy Jane Neff

MOUNT NEBO — Dorothy Jane Neff, 73, of Mount Nebo died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Williams Cemetery on Cranberry Ridge at Camden-on-Gauley with the Rev. Randall Smallwood officiating.


The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Donald Parker, of Beckley, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

Ernie May Tolliver Perry

PINEVILLE — Ernie May Tolliver Perry, 81, of Pineville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.

A celebration of Ernie’s life will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Melissa White officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of the service. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.

William Joseph ‘Bill’ Reed

HICO — William Joseph “Bill” Reed, age 72, of Hico, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1, 2013, at his home.

Born on March 24, 1940, at Glen Morgan, he was the son of the late James A. Reed and Norma Epperly Reed.

Mr. Reed was a retired coal miner, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving from 1959 until 1963. He was a member of the Sunday Road Baptist Church at Hico, and had made his home at Hico for nearly 42 years.  

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife Denise Campbell Reed.

Three sons, Mark Reed and his wife Amy of Hico, Adam Roberts of Oak Hill, and Joseph E. Roberts and his wife Shalaine of Jacksonville, Arkansas.

A brother Carl Reed and his wife Dora of Glen Morgan, 2 grandchildren, Ashton and Blake, two special grandchildren Taylor and T.C. Perry. 3 special friends Harry Treadway, Marshall Wilson, and Donzie Pack.

Matthew 25:23 “Well done, good and faithful servant.” II Corinthians 5:8 “Absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” Psalms 121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

Funeral services will be conducted to Celebrate The Life Of William “Bill” Reed on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Sunday Road Baptist Church, Hico, WV, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Allen Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.

Friends may visit with the family at the church from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Oak Hill VFW Post #3110 Honor Guard.
