NARROWS, Va. — Anna Sue Bradley Boothe, 72, of Narrows, Va., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.
Funeral services will be noon Monday, Jan. 14, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alvin Trivette officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery, Lindside. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of the services Monday at the funeral home.

Barbara Ann Field Brown
Barbara Ann Field Brown, age 84, of Beckley, WV, passed away at the Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
Born on November 13, 1928, in Lansing, she was the daughter of the late Carl Campbell and Ruby Campbell.
Mrs. Brown was a retired registered nurse, last working for Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was a member of the first nursing staff of the Miners Memorial Hospital, which later became BARH. Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, and the St. Francis School of Nursing in Charleston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beckley, and the Fellowship Sunday School Class of the church.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Field, and by a grandson Stacy Johnson.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband, C.R. Brown, a daughter Kathy Friel and her husband Charles of Wendell, NC; a son Mark Field and his wife Breta of Wendell, NC; stepson Mike Brown and his wife Sherry of Salem, VA; grandchildren, Beth Pitre, Adam Friel, Katie Johnson, all of Wendell, NC, Amy Brown of Salem, Va., Joseph Brown of MacArthur, Great-grandchild, Bradley Pitre of Wendell, NC.
There will be no funeral services or visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern WV, P.O. Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25801, in memory of Mrs. Brown. Online condolences may be sent to our guestbook at www.roseandquesenberry.net.
