Lemuel Roosevelt ‘LR’ Lester Sr.

Lemuel Roosevelt “LR” Lester Sr., 50, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013.

A celebration of Lemuel’s life will be at 2 p.m. July 10, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Hannibal Blankenship Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Lester Family Cemetery, Clear Fork.

William Paul McKinney

WEBER CITY, Va. — William Paul McKinney, 88, of Weber City, formerly of Welch and Princeton, died Saturday, July 6, 2013.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Hugh McKinney officiating. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton, with military honors. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

NETTIE — Willa McMillion, 78, of Nettie, a native of Orient Hill, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Jerry Simms officiating. Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery at Nettie. Friends may call one hour prior to the services Wednesday.

KOPPERSTON — Freda Nottingham, 85, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013.
