Willogene Malinda Hamrick Brown
OAK HILL — Willogene Malinda Hamrick Brown, 69, of Oak Hill, died on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born April 7, 1945, at Webster Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Price and Nevada Channell Hamrick.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Hamrick.
Survivors include husband, Frank R. Brown; one daughter, Patty Brown of Bradley; one son, Richard Brown of Oak Hill; brothers, Buddy Hamrick and wife, Sandy of Upper Glade and Bob Hamrick and wife, Norma of Bolair; and two sisters, Linda Collins and husband, Jimmy of Flatwoods and Nancy Adkins and Howard Worrick of Beckley.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m., after which Mrs. Brown is to be cremated. A committal will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity at a later date.

Martha J. Carver
EDMOND — Martha J. Carver, 93, of Edmond, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, following a long illness.
Martha was born April 26, 1921, in Lansing, WV. She was the daughter of the late Lester C. Bragg and Mary E. Newton Bragg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Carver on October 9, 2013.
Martha was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a homemaker and a wonderful, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors are her children ; Mary L. Wynes of Arlington, Va., Marcella A. Sine and Alvin of Hardy, Va., Betty J. Legg and Buzzy of Lookout, Randolph M. Carver and Martha of Edmond, James E. Carver of Corliss, Larry M. Carver and Pam of Hico, Charles D. Carver and Jeanette of Edmond; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Restlawn Memory Gardens With Rev. Harold “Buzzy” Legg officiating.
Friends may call at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home Chapel in Ansted from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
