PETERSTOWN — Genevieve Dillion, 91, of Peterstown, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, with Minister Donald Henegar and Barry Harper officiating. A private family burial be the following day at the Williams Cemetery, Green Valley Road, Peterstown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of services Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Williams Cemetery, C/O Donnie Williams, Rt. 1 Box 180, Peterstown, WV 24963.

Howard Lewis Gunnoe
Howard Lewis Gunnoe, 100, of Dry Creek, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Born December 2, 1911, at Dry Creek to the late Oatie Gunnoe and the late Nancy “Nan” Pettry Gunnoe.
Howard loved anything pertaining to the outdoors, but especially loved hunting, ginsenging, gardening, and fishing. He was a great story teller, and a Deacon at the Dry Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Effie Gunnoe; parents, Oatie and Nan Gunnoe; four sisters, Ivory, Bensie, Tacy, and Georgia; and a brother, Orville.
Those left to cherish his memory include his four daughters, Phyllis Snuffer of Jonesborough, TN, Loretta Carver and husband, James, of Johnson City, TN, Joyce Jean Richmond and husband, Larry, of Jonesborough, TN, and Mary Miller and husband, Tracy, of Jonesborough, TN; a son, Paul Gunnoe and wife, Norma, of Dry Creek; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Howard’s Life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2012, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Rev. Danny Gilfilen officiating, assisted by Pastor Roger Mullens, and Deacon David Howell. Following the services Howard will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Steven Gunnoe, David Carver, Randall Carver, Mark Carver, Michael Richmond, Esco Richmond, Jamie Ferguson, and Doug Browning will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
