Kristoffer Bradley Bolen

A new warrior was added to God’s Heavenly Army, following a courageous battle to live against all odds following a brain-stem bleed, from which survival percentile is 30-40%.

On October 24, 2013, with the work done and his battle won, Kristoffer Bradley Bolen, 31, born May 24, 1982, of Coal City, went to his next assignment to live forever in the presence of the Heavenly Father-God. In whom he never lost faith or belief in. Through all his years of pain and suffering here on Earth, Kris never gave up and loved God with all his heart. After this, his biggest battle with pain and suffering, God called him home to live pain free, in his presence forever. Praise The Lord.

Preceding Kris to their glory are his grandparents, William “Bill” and Goldie (Burford) Payne; great-grandparents, Sanford and Lena (Kincaid) Bolen and Kate (Coalson) Farley.

Kristoffer leaves the following family members that he loved so much to follow him when their battles on Earth are done. Parents, Lacy E. Bolen Jr. and Susan V. (Payne) Bolen; sister, Vanessa A. (Bolen) Mills and husband, Nathan; two nephews who were the light of his life, Aiden and Ian Mills of Crab Orchard; grandparents, Earl and Betty (Coalson) Bolen of Coal City; and numerous special to him, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kris was a 2000 graduate of Independence High School. He was loved by everyone he came in contact with. To know Kris was to love him. He was loved by the nurses, caregivers of all kinds and one special Dr. Joseph Golden. So many that helped him through all the years of frightening seizures, brain bleeds and injuries from falls. Meeting these wonderful people in hospitals. The most special hospital that helped him through his 90 days of battle.

Services to celebrate the life of Kristoffer Bradley Bolen will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor William “Bill” Prunest and Pastor William “Bill” Reed officiating.
