Carlos Lee Crouch a.k.a. Guido, 75, of Beckley, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013.
Born March 27, 1938, he was a son of the late Harry and Annie Crouch of Cranberry.
Carlos served in the U.S. Army and worked as a mason, but was best known as “The Bread Man” for Flowers Baking Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Crouch; daughter, Margaret Crouch; and brother, Johnny Crouch.
Guido enjoyed bowling, bingo, mowing his brother’s grass, spending time with his grandchildren, going to church with his son and sister, and spending summers on the lake.
Those left to cherish his memory include daughter, Vicky Toney and husband, Ken of Mechanicsville, Va.; daughter, Missy Crouch and fiancé Roger Fleshman of Beckley; son, Jeff Crouch and wife, Heather of Shady Spring; daughter, Kelly Elkins and husband, Rodney of Beckley; son, Bill Crouch and fiancé Amy Petrosky of Beckley; grandchildren, Ashley Sanchez, Seth Toney, Sara Toney, Allison Reid, Emily Crouch, Haley Elkins, Elija Lively, Michael Crouch, and Bella Crouch; sisters, Linda “Susie” Mays and Rosanna Anglin; Brothers, Pat Crouch and Herbie Crouch; and special Aunt Dorothy Clay.
Friends and family may gather Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. and the funeral will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1 p.m., both will be held at Cranberry Baptist Church with Pastors Roger Pauley and Doug Holley officiating. Carlos will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Larry Clay Gill
NIMITZ — Larry Clay Gill, 61, of Nimitz, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at his home following a long illness.
Born February 15, 1952, at Hinton, he was the son of the late Otis C. and Jessie Rader Gill.
An employee of Briers Furniture Co. for 25 years where he worked in delivery and appliance maintenance, he enjoyed singing, playing music and spending time with his family and friends.
Larry gave his heart to the Lord Jesus on Sunday, April 7, 2013, and is now enjoying the glory of heaven.
Preceded in death by his son, Larry Gill Jr. and one grandson, Randy L. Cales.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sharon Gill of Hinton; two daughters, Melissa Workman and companion Curtis and Kimberly Salmon; two stepchildren, Brian Gill and wife Gail and Kathy Cales; five grandchildren, Brandon Workman, Tea Workman, Brandon Cales, Hannah Sizemore and Kara Ramsey; two great grandchildren, Travis Morton and Savannah Myles; six brothers and sisters, Shirley Sampson and companion Hayward Cales, Patricia Ralbusky and husband Roger, Dinah Palmer and husband Glen, Ivan Gill and wife Becky, Steve Gill and Weldon “Bear” Gill and wife Sherri and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Chaplain Bobby Meadows and Kenny Martin officiating. At Larry’s request the body will be cremated following the services.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care that was given to Larry by Hospice of Southern WV and special thanks to Kathy McHenry and Michelle Allen.
