Frank Foster Bush II

SMOOT — Frank Foster Bush II, 32, died Monday, April 8, 2013.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Chapel Cemetery, Clintonville.

Friends may call 6 to 8  p.m. Friday, April 12, at the funeral home.

Virginia Helen Fitzpatrick Cales

HAMPTON, Va. — Virginia Helen Fitzpatrick Cales, age 92, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013. She was a native of Hinton, W.Va., and a resident of Hampton for 28 years. 

Virginia worked as a housekeeper for 24 years with Summers County Hospital, and she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna L. Proffit; son, Donald W. Caudell; brother, Robert Fitzpatrick; and granddaughter, Kathy Smith.

She is survived by her son, Richard Caudell; daughters, Susan Bartgis (Kay) and Dorothy Smith (Robert); eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Herbie Fitzpatrick; and sisters, Neda Walker, Patricia Black, and June Lombag.

A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Columbarium. 

Memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter of your choice. 

Friends are encouraged to visit to share memories and words of condolence with the family.

Walter Clyde Clay

YORKTOWN, Va. — Walter Clyde Clay, 77, of Yorktown, formerly of Meadow Bridge, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
