Stefanie Denise ‘Big Red’ Amick
NETTIE — Stefanie Denise “Big Red” Amick, 46, of Nettie, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
Born Feb. 28, 1967, in Summersville, she was the daughter of the late Eria Paulett Stoneburner and her adoptive father, Robert Adams of McRoss. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joanna Bennett; two uncles, Glen and Griffin Stoneburner and grandparents, Paul and Rebecca Stoneburner.
Survivors include her spouse, Mark Dewayne Amick of Nettie; daughter, Mackenzie Breanna Hardwick of Nettie; her three-year-old K9 son, Buckshot Amick; two aunts, Claudett (John) O’Dell of Leivasy and Kim (Bonnie) O’Quinn of Princeton; nephew, Neil Adam Pence and niece, Keely Nicole Bennett.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Peniel United Methodist Church at Hominy Falls, W.Va., with Pastor Harold Dusky officiating.

Cindy Sue Nester Bailey
Cindy was born on December 10th, 1964 in Huntington, to Kenneth and Brenda Nester and departed this life into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 10th 2013 following a short illness with her loving family by her side.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Nester, maternal grandparents (Rev) Louie and Evelyn Stegel, and paternal grandparents Edwin and Estelle Nester.
Cindy graduated from WV Career College in 1984 and was a former employee of the Marriot in Charleston. Cindy was gifted with an extremely energetic personality that lifted up the spirits of all those around her.
In 1991, Cindy’s life was tragically changed due to complications received in an automobile accident but thanks to the dedication and loyalty of a mother and sister love, and the blessing of the Lord, was able to live another 22 wonderful years.
During those 22 years, Cindy was able to enjoy many vacations to include trips to Disney World in Florida, Myrtle Beach S.C., Pigeon Forge and Dollywood Tenn., and many camping and fishing trips.
In addition to her mother, Cindy is also survived by her daughter Jennifer; brother, Edward Nester (Janet), sister, Terra Shank, and brother, John (Michelle), all of Scott Depot. She is also survived by the Love of her life former fiancé Brian Brown. Also surviving are her nephews Tony, Jonathan, Kenny, Brandon, and Fred; nieces Brenda, Danielle, Valerie, and Heather; several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends as well as her former husband and Jennifer’s father, Keith Bailey.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane with Marvin Arbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
