Karen Lynn Fortner

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Karen Lynn Fortner on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, following a short illness at her home.

Karen Lynn Foley Fortner was born in Beckley on May 8, 1963. She was the second of three children born to the late Chester Foley and Doris Wells Foley.

Karen was a dental assistant of the Beckley VA Hospital and two times recipient of the customer service award and received many citations to the excellent service to our veterans.

When we remember Karen, we will remember how she loved scrap booking, arts and crafts and her love of animals.
