Trecia Gaye Settle

Trecia Gaye Settle, 66, formerly of West Virginia, gently passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant, Pa.

She was born March 31, 1946, in Cirtsville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Herman and Gladys Woolwine Settle.

Trecia's mission in life was to bring as many people as she possibly could to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a living testament to total belief in salvation through Jesus Christ. She thought that everyone she met, should have that same commitment. Trecia sought spiritual nourishment throughout her life and attended numerous churches seeking to be fed with the Word.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sondra Ledford of Lakeland, Fla.

Surviving are her siblings, Drema Hubbell and husband, Chuck, of Connellsville, Pa., and Herman Settle of Cirtsville. Never married herself, she had numerous nieces and nephews.

Trecia, you have taught us about living within a set of morals and about commitment and about giving of yourself. No matter what circumstances she faced, Trecia never complained. We love and miss you!

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Hans Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in Pax Community Cemetery.   Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the church of your choice. Trecia’s family would like to thank Harmon House for their love and care.
