Norvell S. Lilly
PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Norvell S. Lilly, 88, a native of Lanark, died October 3, 2012, in Pittsburgh.
He was born on November 30, 1923 in Lanark, W.Va.
Norvell was a graduate of West Virginia University, a US Navy Seabee in WW-II, an Industrial Arts teacher in the Penn Hills School District, salesman of steel bridges, plywood and real estate, President of the Pittsburgh Homebuilder’s Assn., A Mason, Boy Scout Leader (Troop 45), avid golfer (at one time), and was for a number of years an active member and officer of the Penn Hills chapter of the AARP.
Norvell was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Frances Lee Jones and recently by his wife of 26 years, Constance “Bunny” (Krouskop) Lilly.
He is survived by his sons Dr. Gary D. Lilly (Martha), Rev. Dr. Philip G. Lilly, (Carol), Capt. Norvell Lee Lilly, USN Retired (Donna), daughter Suzanne Lilly, three grandchildren, and two great-grand children.
Due to Norvell’s extensive background in land development, real estate, and home building, he was called home to start a new subdivision in heaven. Amen.
A memorial service will be held at the Monroeville United Methodist Church on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 10 a.m.

HINTON — Lora Ethel Lyons, 81, of 608 Greenbrier Drive, Hinton, died Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, after a long illness.

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Alvie Napier, 84, of Germantown, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at his home in Tennessee.

Eddie Dean Persinger
Eddie Dean Persinger, 60, of Crab Orchard, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012, in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center following a long illness.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012 at Cross Point Church of God with Pastor Vondie L. Cook II officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
