Winifred ‘James’ Ogle
PINEVILLE — Winifred “James” Ogle, 62, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 3:45 a.m. after a short illness. At the time of his death, he was in the Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.
Born November 23, 1951, in Pineville, he was the son of the late Betty Lou Salone and Jack Ogle.
James will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He never met a stranger and enjoyed helping others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kacy and Louise Ogle and a brother, Chuck Ogle.
He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 37 years, Emily McMillion Ogle of Pineville; a son, JJ Ogle of Princeton; two daughters, Samantha White of Charleston, Brittany Ogle of Pineville; a brother, Joseph Ogle of Martinsville, Va.
A celebration of James’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Pineville Church of God with the Rev. Norman Gray and Rev. Keith Reed officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Wyoming County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church.
