Mary Jo Bragg
KIMBERLY — Mary Jo Bragg, 64, of Kimberly died January 4, 2014.
She was born July 14, 1949, in Deep Water, and was the daughter of the late William Lawrence and Geraldine Lockard Gray.
She was a disabled underground coal miner and a certified shooter for Valley Camp Coal Company. She was a member of the Kimberly Church of God.
Surviving, her husband Wayne H. “Fred” Bragg; children, Wayne Bragg Jr. and his wife Angela of Kimberly, William Bragg and is wife Ashley of Kimberly, step-daughter Alisha Marie Pike of Belle; brothers David Gray and is wife Tenna of Montgomery, Mark Gray and his wife Reva of Sod, William Luke Gray and his wife Susan of Dallas NC; sisters, Alice Pritt of Clendenin; niece Melissa Dorsey of Gallagher; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The family wishes to thank the Kimberly Church of God, friends and neighbors for their loving care.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call two hours prior the service at the funeral home.

CHAPMANVILLE — Vicki Lynn Burke, 56, of Chapmanville, passed away January 6, 2014, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Her arrangements are incomplete and Honaker Funeral Home in Logan is in charge of her arrangements.
Maggie Virginia Pugh Caudell
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — Maggie Virginia Pugh Caudell, 89, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 7, 2014, at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.
Maggie’s generosity, love and kindness will live in our hearts forever. Mrs. Caudell was born Jan. 31, 1924, on Backus Mountain, Fayette County and was the daughter of the late Sam Henry and Ella Ester Gill Pugh.
Mrs. Caudell was a member of the Church of God and was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by other than her parents, her husband, Kennings Bernard Caudell and a brother, Arlie Pugh.
Surviving are her son, Robert S. Caudell and companion Carolyn Boone of White Sulphur Springs; sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Anderson of Laurel, Md. and Verna (Irvin) Asbury of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, Ralph Pugh of Layland, Denny Pugh of Tupelo, Miss. and Harmon Pugh of Piney View; seven grandchidlren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Caudell will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at the Harrah Cemetery on Bakus Mountain at 1 p.m. with Rev. Mike Wilson officiating. Upon Maggie’s request there will not be any visitation.
