There’s a smile that’s missing

And laughter we won’t hear.

But you are now with God

And he’s holding you closely Dear.

When we see the leaves change,

Or the clouds rolling by, the feel of

A raindrop or sun in the sky.

We will remember that smile of yours.

And know you are resting peacefully on

That bright golden shore
