BECKLEY —
Santa is packing up his sleigh for Mac’s Toy Fund.
Thousands will gather Saturday morning at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center for the distribution event, invited to participate by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Mac’s pays the postage.
Monetary donations given to Mac’s fund pay for such event expenses as new toys, materials for handcrafted wooden toys, bikes, bike repairs and helmets, new coats and venue rental.

It also makes a major monetary donation, gathered at the monthly appearances at area churches.
Convention President Harold Richmond commented as he presented this year’s donation, “We have brought in Mac’s largest single contribution of the year. I thank the following churches for their contributions to the cause.”
