Mac's Toy Fund nears $25,000 goal

The Register-Herald

BECKLEY — As Saturday’s distribution party grows closer, donations to Mac’s Toy Fund grow closer to the $25,000 goal.

Monetary donations to Mac’s pay for such event expenses as new toys, materials for handcrafted wooden toys, bikes, bike repairs and helmets, new coats and venue rental.

Another way to help is donating used coats to the drive by Shady Spring High School cheerleaders. New and used coats are being accepted at Chateaux Interiors in Beckley; Kroger at Beaver, Harper Road and Beckley Crossing; CVS in Beaver; Big Lots in Beckley; Chick-fil-A at Beckley Galleria; Family Coin Laundry; The Register-Herald; Walgreens in Beaver; Raleigh General Hospital; Chili’s in Beckley and all Shady Spring schools.
