Mac’s Toy Fund
Since the times of America’s First Great Depression, a Christmas season tradition has been taking place in Beckley to make certain that as many of our neediest children can experience the holiday with some cheer.
Established in 1930 by the late Ted “Mac” McDowell, who was editor of the Beckley Post Herald at the time, Mac’s Toy Fund will hold its annual party on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.
