Mac’s Toy Fund gets ready for annual event


— Mac’s Toy Fund is continuing preparations for its 83rd annual toy distribution event.

Donations of used toys can be taken to Crossroads Chevrolet or BJW Printing on Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley.

Bicycles for the Beckley Board of Realtors’ drive can be taken to ERA Advantage, 3082 Robert C. Byrd Drive, to Beckley Fire Station No. 3 on Eisenhower Drive and behind the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.

Gently used coats for adults and children can be dropped off at Chateau Interiors; Indie Sparrow Boutique in Beckley; Shady Spring Elementary, Middle and High schools; Ghent Elementary; Daniels Elementary; Walgreen’s, Kroger and CVS in Beaver; Family Coin Laundry and Big Lots in Beckley; Chick-fil-A at The Galleria; Raleigh General Hospital cafeteria; Kroger stores in Beckley Crossing and on Harper Road; Sam’s Club; The Register-Herald and Jump Zone at Beckley Plaza.

Monetary donations are needed to fund costs of the event.
