Emily Fedukovich hit three 3-point baskets and finished with a game-high 18 points to lead Independence to its first win of the season.
Krista Harris and Kriste Greene scored 10 points apiece for Independence.
Stacey Williams led the Raiders with 15 points and Katana Bryant added eight.
Independence travels to River View Friday and Liberty hosts Bluefield Friday.
