Akasa Benton scored 19 points, hauled down 14 rebounds and had eight steals for River View, which lost its key player Chelsey Dobbs to injury in the second quarter. Dobbs already had 12 rebounds and six points when she left the game.
Kiersten Dority had 12 points, and Phyllis Waldron had 10 rebounds and five steals for River View (1-11).
Mountain Mission tossed in seven three-pointers. Heran Hailu had three of them on her way to 14 points. Nebyat Adem has 12 points.
The Raiders girls and boys play a doubleheader with Bluefield on Friday at Brushfork Armory.
