Hill scores 4, breaks 100-goal mark in 5-1 PikeView win

Laura Hill scored four goals in the victory, giving her 101 for her career and 45 for the season.

Courtney Gray also had a goal for the Panthers, while  Sophie Cline had two assists and Madison May and Charlotte Webster added one apiece.

Serena Mullins scored for Nicholas County.

Kristen Brinkley made three keeper saves for PikeView. Allison Ervens had eight for the Grizzlies.

PikeView (12-3-2) will play at Midland Trail at 7 p.m. Tuesday as the nightcap of a boys-girls doubleheader.

n Thursday night the Panthers fell 7-1 to top-ranked Sissonville. Hill had the sole PikeView goal, which was the first the 17-2 Indians had surrendered in their last 11 games.

Shady Spring 10, Scott 3

MADISON — Junior midfielder Lyndsey Thompson scored seven goals for the Tigers.

Thompson had put in eight goals against the Skyhawks earlier in the season in a game in Beckley. She now has 93 for her career.

Bri Bevell, Carly Killmer and Jade Oar had the other Shady goals.

The Tigers, now 6-10-1, play at 6 p.m. Monday at Princeton. They will also host Greenbrier East at 5 p.m. Tuesday for Senior Night.



BOYS PREP SOCCER

Woodrow Wilson 0, Capital 0


The Flying Eagles outshot Capital 7-4, but could not find the back of the net in their MSAC tournament game.

Goalkeeper Casey Young had four saves for Woodrow (6-7-3), which hosts Greenbrier East at 7 p.m. Thursday.
