Dakota Thomas scored the only touchdown of the game on a 32-yard run as Summers County improved to 2-4 with a 6-0 shutout victory over Glenwood Thursday. Summers County will play Shady Spring next week, while Glenwood will play PikeView.



Trap Hill 32, Shady Spring 8

Sammuel Sluss scored on touchdown runs of 6 and 27 yards, while Chase Masterpilito and Dylan Dickens added touchdown scampers in Trap Hill’s 32-8 win over Shady Spring. Shady’s only touchdown came on a 60-yard John Gammens run. Trap Hill, which will take its perfect record to Park next Thursday at 6 p.m., got two-point conversions from Dylan Bashan and Jacob Bailey, who converted the final two.



Western Greenbrier 14, Independence 6

Western Greenbrier got a 55-yard touchdown run from Cody Finster and a 5-yard run from Dwayne Shiflett to defeat Independence 14-6 Thursday. Independence’s score came on a 5-yard Chase Mills run. Independence (3-2) will play at Beckley-Stratton next Thursday.
