Lady Renegades down Man 86-48

MAN — GIRLS PREP BASKETBALL

Westside 86, Man 48

All-state center Hope Lester scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lift the Class AA No. 1 Renegades.

Megan Endicott added 15 points, while Faith Davis scored 12. Morgan Spolarich chipped in seven steals and seven assists.

Taylor Whited scored 19 points for Man while Mika McCoy tallied 16 and Summer Sword had 10

Westside (16-1) plays Friday at Oak Hill.

HINTON — Class AA No. 6 Summers County rolled out to a 35-6 halftime lead and cruised past Greenbrier West Wednesday.

Avery Pivont and Audrey Holley led the Lady Bobcats with 10 points apiece, while Hayley Shrewsbury, Abby Taylor and Shelby Smith added eight points apiece.

Kristen Harris led the Lady Cavaliers with 10 points.

Summers County (12-5) hosts PikeView Friday.

Kaylee Dickenson poured in 24 points to lead the host Shady Spring Lady Tigers past county rival Independence Wednesday.

Morgan Hylton added 12 points for  Shady Spring.

Kelsey Hart led the Lady Patriots with 11 points and Emily Fedukovich scored nine points.

Shady Spring (6-12) travels to Liberty Monday. Independence (7-10) hosts River View Friday.

FAYETTEVILLE — The Class A No. 8 Fayetteville Lady Pirates rode the dominating performance of senior all-stater Jessica Brown to defeat Richwood Wednesday. Brown blistered the nets for 35 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the win.

Alvina Sedlock added 11 points while Erica Hogan pulled down 11 rebounds for the Lady Pirates.

Hannah Brown led the Lady Lumberjacks with 14 points and Breanna Mazzella had 11 points.

Fayetteville (11-4) hosts county rival Midland Trail tonight.

NEW RICHMOND — Bre Pertee took the in-bounds pass and drove the length of the floor nailing a short jumper with less than two seconds remaining to lift the Wyoming East Lady Warriors past PikeView Wednesday.

Hannah Ford led the Lady Warriors with 14 points and Chelsea Duncan added 13 points.

Chiara Jewell pulled down 10 rebounds and Hailey Lowman grabbed nine rebounds for the Lady Warriors.

Lyndsay Hatfield led the Lady Panthers with 15 points and Madison May added 14 points.

Wyoming East (12-7) travels to James Monroe Friday. PikeView (8-9) travels to Summers County Friday.

SUMMERSVILLE — Greenbrier West used a balanced scoring attack to roll past Nicholas County Wednesday.

Josh Martin led the Cavaliers with 12 points, while Zach Johnson added 11 points.

Colby Ennis and Brandon Gwinn chipped in eight points apiece for Greenbrier West.

Nicholas County was led by Jared Tharp with a game-high 18 points.

Nicholas County (8-8) hosts Midland Trail tonight. Greenbrier West plays Friday in the Hometown Invitational Tournament.
