OAK HILL — Deon Marion and Joey Re tallied 10 points apiece to lead the host Oak Hill Red Devils past Braxton County Tuesday.

Marc Logan added nine points and Ervin Fruit chipped in eight for Oak Hill.

Braxton County was led by Austin Rhodes with 10 points.

Oak Hill (3-7) travels to Westside Friday.

n Pancake fundraiser to benefit  Shady Upper Deck teams

The Shady Spring Detroit Tigers Upper Deck Middle School Baseball teams will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s on Harper Road Saturday, Jan. 26, from 8 to 10 a.m.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage and your choice of drink.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased in advance from team members or by calling 304-673-3338. Tickets will also be available at the door at Applebee’s beginning at 8 a.m. the day of the breakfast.

All proceeds from the event go directly toward helping sponsor the S.S.D.T. baseball teams.
