Greenbrier West baseball pounds Richwood

Greenbrier West 19, Richwood 9 (5 innings)

CHARMCO — Jarrett Jennings blasted two home runs, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs to lead Greenbrier West past Richwood Monday.

Jordan Robinson added two hits and three RBIs and Adam Tygrett had two hits, two RBIs and scored twice for the Cavaliers.

Casey O’Dell drove in two runs for Richwood.

West (8-7) hosts Meadow Bridge today.

Wyoming East 12, Fayetteville 6

NEW RICHMOND — The Wyoming East Warriors scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth and added three more runs in the bottom of the six to defeat Fayetteville 12-6 Monday.

David Powers drove in three runs, while Christian Hedinger and Hunter Simmons each had a double and two RBIs for East.

Zach Whitten added two hits and an RBI for the Warriors.

Aaron Krise led the Pirates with three hits including a home run, a double and two RBIs. Brian Gore added three hits and Tre Phares had two hits including a double for Fayetteville.

Wyoming East (12--4) travels to Westside today.
