SETH — Aaron Krise fired the second no-hitter of the week for the Pirates as Fayetteville rolled past the Sherman Tide Friday.

Jake Holland, Brian Gore and Jake Alton had two hits apiece and Krise had one hit. Tyler McKinney had three RBIs.

Fayetteville (9-8) travels to Oak Hill today.

SMITHERS — The Valley Greyhounds pounded out 12 hits, but could not overcome seven fielding errors, falling to Greenbrier East Friday 12-7.

Ethan Level led East with three hits, while James Utterback and R.J. Massie each added two hits each. Massie also had two RBIs.

Raeshawn Breckenridge led the Greyhounds with a home run, a double and four RBIs. Joseph Eckert and Drew Jones added two hits apiece.

Valley (11-5) hosts Summers County Monday.

CHARMCO — Austin Ransom blasted a home run and a double, scored four times and drove in three runs to lead the Cavaliers past the Generals Friday.

Jared Jennings also hit a home run, scored four times and had two RBIs, while Mikey Goddard added two hits, scored two runs and had two RBIs for Greenbrier West.

Montcalm was led by Travis Poynter with two RBIs.

Greenbrier West (7-5) plays two games today. The Cavaliers host Nicholas County at noon and PikeView at 5 p.m. PikeView will play Nicholas County today at 2:30 p.m. in Charmco.
