Roundup: Wood's hat trick, assist, lead PikeView

Seth Wood had a hat-trick and an assist to help lead the Panthers to a 7-2 victory over the visiting Herbert Hoover on Saturday.

The Panthers piled up the goals. On top of Wood’s three goals, Alex White, Isaac Van Blairicom, Brandon Calfee and Alex Testerman each had a goal a piece.

Hunter Cline had two assists for PikeVIew, while White, Blairicom, and Brian Campbell each had an assist.

Panthers keeper  Austin Cordell had one save.

PikeVIew  (2-1-1) wille host Shady Spring Tuesday evening.

GIRLS PREP SOCCER

Megan Allen scored the decisive goal for the Huskies in the 73rd minute to give the visiting Herbert Hoover the victory over PikeView.

Lady Panthers’ goalkeeper Kristen Bailey had 8 saves on 9 Hoover shots on goal.

PikeView (1-3-0) will host Poca Thursday evening.
