ROUNDUP: Rally keeps Red Devils unbeaten; PikeView sweeps St. Joe

Oak Hill 4, Cross Lanes Christian 3

Oak Hill scored three goals in the final 10 minutes to rally against Cross Lanes.

All-state center-forward Jacob Kemlock had two goals, giving him 22 on the season. Outside midfielder Ian Hunt also scored twice, and now has nine goals on the campaign.

Goalkeeper Brett Garris had seven saves. Class AAA No. 2 Oak Hill (15-0-2) will play at Herbert Hoover Tuesday.

PikeView 2, Huntington St. Joseph 0

HUNTINGTON — Seth Wood scored his 17th goal of the season and Alec White talllied his sixth to lead PikeView.

Wood also had an assist, while keeper Austin Cordell made eight saves.

The Panthers’ defense (sweeper Jason Weitzel, stopper Alex Testerman, left back Paydon Cutlip and right back Joe Bailey) has allowed just one goal in the last eight games

PikeView (13-4-1) will play Independence Tuesday at the YMCA Youth Sports Complex.


PikeView 2, Huntington St. Joseph 1

HUNTINGTON — Lexie O’Dell scored two goals and Shyann Carr made two assists to lift the Panthers. Keeper Kristen Brinkley had six saves.

Lindsay Bates scored for Huntington. Rachel Lee had eight saves in goal.

PikeView (11-5-1) plays Shady Spring at 5 p.m. Thursday at the YMCA’s Carter Family Stadium.
