Boys: Westside 78, Liberty 64

CLEAR FORK — Class AA No. 5 Westside placed four players in double figures and used a strong second-half performance to defeat sectional rival Liberty in the season finale for the Renegades.

Corey Bowles led the Renegades with 27 points. Levi Lambert added 14, Justin Cogar 13 and Justin Kenneda 12.

Levi Cook led all scorers with 36 points for the Raiders, while Trevor McGhee scored 12 points and Michael Prater 10.

Westside (16-6) will open sectional play Tuesday, Feb. 26, against the winner of Liberty and Independence. Liberty closes out the season tonight, hosting PikeView.

Austin Lyons 3 3-3 10, Michael Prater 0 2-2 2, Levi Cook 15 6-8 36, Tre McDowell 1 0-0 2, Trevor McGhee 4 4-10 12, Devin Acord 0 0-0 2. Totals: 24 15-23 64.

Westside (16-6)
