GARDNER — Lyndsay Hatfield and Courtney White each had a double-double to lead PikeView past Shady Spring Wednesday. Hatfield had 18 points and 14 rebounds, while White scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Hope Nester added 16 points for the Lady Panthers.

Kaylee Dickenson scored 16 points to lead the Lady Tigers.

PikeView (10-10) hosts James Monroe tonight for senior night.

NEW RICHMOND — The Class AA No. 7 Wyoming East Warriors jumped out to a 27-5 first quarter lead and cruised by Independence Wednesday.

Brett Bowling led the Warriors with 21 points and Cody Lester had 13 points.

Shane Greco led the Patriots with 10 points and Chris Mills had seven.

Wyoming East (13-5) travels to Oak Hill Friday.

CHARLESTON — The Liberty Raiders overcame a 37-34 deficit after three quarters to defeat Sissonville at the Charleston Civic Center Wednesday.

Levi Cook led all scorers with 27 points and Austin Lyons added 12 for the Raiders.

Zach Null scored 22 points to lead the Indians and Trent Stowers had 10 points.

Liberty (11-7) hosts Sherman Friday.

Meadow Bridge 67, Greater Beckley Christian 25

The Meadow Bridge Lady Wildcats rolled out to a quick 29-11 first quarter lead and cruised past Greater Beckley Christian for their seventh win in a row Tuesday.

All-stater Chandra Harrah led the Lady Wildcats with 15 points followed closely by Caitlin White with 14 points and Sarah Fleshman with 12 points.

Kayla Hill led the Lady Crusaders with six points.

Meadow Bridge (15-5) hosts Greenbrier West Saturday in the Region 3 Section 2 opening round game.
