FAIRLEA — With Class AAA No. 1 Greenbrier East down by one point, Bianca Andre took a sideline in-bounds pass from Elizabeth Romeo and nailed a jump-shot as time expired to lift the Lady Spartans past Class AAA No. 8 George Washington Thursday.

Andre led all scorers with 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Chaunte McDowell added 10 points and Romeo had nine points.

The Lady Patriots were led by Kelli Jo Harrison with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Greenbrier East (16-0) hosts Logan Saturday.

Montcalm will visit as Fayetteville (12-4) holds Senior Night at 6 p.m. today.

RICHWOOD — The Richwood Lady Lumberjacks jumped out to a commanding first-half lead and rolled past Van Thursday.

Breanna Mazzella had a huge night for Richwood with 39 points and 12 rebounds, while Hannah Brown added 11 points and Jamie Bailey had nine points.

Stevie White led Van with six points.

Richwood (6-10) travels to Sherman tonight.
