FAIRLEA — Rondale Watson had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Obi Romeo 13 points and 14 boards, and Class AAA No. 4 Greenbrier East remained unbeaten.

Bryce Woodliff added 10 points and seven assists for the Spartans (13-0).

Rockbridge (9-6) got 36 points, including eight 3-pointers, and 9 rebounds from Andrew Rowsy.

East will take on Tug Valley at 9 p.m. Friday in the King Coal Classic in Logan.

Notre Dame 69, Webster County 65

UPPER GLADE — Cal Castaro scored 26 points, while Justin Goff and Kulby Abruzza scored 12 apiece as Notre Dame edged Webster County.

Brett Morris, who became Webster’s all-time leading scorer last Saturday, led the Highlanders (9-2) with 34 points.

Webster will host Roane County Tuesday. Also, the Highlanders’ game against Liberty, postponed earlier in the season, will be played Thursday in Upper Glade.
