MEADOW BRIDGE —
In a battle of county rivals featuring all-state players Alexis Payne and Chandra Harrah, it was sophomore Abigail Buchan who stole the show. Buchan poured in 30 points to lead Valley to a come-from-behind victory over Meadow Bridge.
The Greyhounds trailed by as many as 12 points and Meadow Bridge led until the 3:00 mark of the fourth quarter.
Payne finished with 23 points for Valley, while Harrah tallied 24, including six 3-point goals, for the Lady Wildcats.
Sarah Fleshman scored 14 points and Allison Gilkerson added 11 for Meadow Bridge.
Meadow Bridge (5-2) travels to Fayetteville Monday and Valley (7-0) hosts Montcalm Monday.
