ROUNDUP: Shady Spring downs Oak Hill 3-1


Shady Spring 3, Oak Hill 1

Senior all-stater Lindsey Thompson scored two goals to lead the Shady Spring Lady Tigers past Oak Hill Thursday 3-1.

Bri Bevil also found the net for the victorious Lady Tigers.

Mary Kate Rosiek scored the lone goal for the Lady Red Devils.

Shady Spring (4-5-1) hosts Braxton County Tuesday.


Greenbrier East 0, Shady Spring 0

The Greenbrier East Spartans and Shady Spring Tigers battled to a 0-0 draw on the pitch Thursday in Shady Spring.

The Tigers out-shot the Spartans 11-6 with Tigers goalkeeper Johnathan Beckett recording two saves. Mac Breckenridge recorded five first-half saves and Noah Dye had four second-hald saves for the Spartans.

Greenbrier East (3-4-2) travels to Woodrow Wilson Tuesday and Shady Spring Travels to Herbert Hoover also on Tuesday.
