Shady Spring Summer Baseball Tournament

SHADY SPRING — Eight high school baseball teams got together for the annual Shady Spring Summer Tournament that started Thursday. And the winner is ... well, nobody. At least not yet. Rain forced the postponement of Sunday’s championship game between Woodrow Wilson and St. Albans. The game has tentatively been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Woodrow advanced to the title game with an 11-3 semifinal win over Shady Spring, while St. Albans defeated Independence 2-0.
