Bluefield 84, Summers County 81
BLUEFIELD — The Class AA No. 1 Bluefield Beavers received 26 points from D.J. Edwards and 24 points from Anthony Eades to rally past upset-minded Summers County Tuesday.
Lykel Collier added 13 points and Michael Yost had 10 points for the Beavers.
T.J. Smith scored a game-high 39 points to lead the Bobcat’s upset bid, while TaRon Ayers added 19 points, Josh Graham 11 points and Isaiah Brown had 10 points.
Summers County (8-7) hosts Liberty Thursday in a key sectional battle.
