Drew D’Angelo hit a double and drove in two runs to lead the Patriots past the Beavers Tuesday.

Andrue Hughart and Brad Huffman each added two hits including a double.

Jeremy McGinnis and Brad Huffman combined to allow just five hits and two runs in the Patriot victory.

Sam Santoro had two hits and one RBI for Bluefield.

Independence travels to Liberty tonight.

OAK HILL — Ciera Workman gave up just two hits and only one run to lead the Oak Hill Lady Red Devils past Bluefield Tuesday. Workman also added two hits in the win.

Tempest Bickford had two hits including a triple and an RBI, while Maria Bragg and Hannah Johnson added two hits apiece for Oak Hill.

Lakyn Morris and Melinda Lawson had one hit apiece for Bluefield.

Oak Hill (7-8) hosts Westside today.
