Wyoming East 14,

Westside 1 (5 innings)

CLEAR FORK — The Wyoming East Warriors exploded for seven first inning runs and rolled past county rival Westside 14-1 Tuesday.

Zach Whitten had three hits and three RBIs and Austin Canada added three hits for the Warriors. Derek Thornton and Hunter Justus added two RBIs apiece for Wyoming East.

Warrior pitchers Austin Canada and John Culicerto scattered six hits and surrendered just one run.

Jeff Brown had a hit and an RBI for Westside.

Wyoming East (13-4) travels to Summers County tonight.

BLUEFIELD — Fayetteville dispatched Nicholas County in Copinger Tournament action Tuesday night, behind the pitching of Trey Farris.

Jake Holland went 2-for-4 and Will Dooley was 1-for-3 with a pair of RBIs for the Pirates.

Grizzly Bryce Hunter went 2-for-3.

Fayetteville improved to 12-11 on the season.

CHARMCO — The Cavalier pitchers combined on a two-hit shut-out, while Kaleb Bolen and Brent Hellmes each smacked a double and drove in two runs to lead Greenbrier West past Meadow Bridge Tuesday.

Chase McClung added two hits and Dustin Yoakum scored two runs for the Cavaliers.

Shane Harless and Jennings Berry each had one hit for Meadow Bridge.

Greenbrier West (9-7) travels to James Monroe Thursday.
