BUCKHANNON — Moorefield 31, Webster County 13

UPPER GLADE — Webster County turned the ball over three times in the red zone, while Moorefield quarterback Dakota Vetter ran for a touchdown and passed for two more to lead the Yellow Jackets to the win.

Vetter finished with 101 yards rushing and 184 passing. Matt Dolin caught TD passes of 29 and 84 yards for 4-1 Moorefield.

Webster (0-5) lost the ball on downs at the Moorefield 12, fumbled at the 10 and was intercepted at the 4 — all in the first half.

Walker Lawson (35-yard run) and Jake Shrader (3) put the Highlanders on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter.

Jake Phayer ran for 68 yrds and passed for 152 for Webster, which will play Friday at Liberty.
