GLEN DANIEL — Dylan Keel hit a home run and Joey Lacek went 3-for-4 as Liberty beat Fayetteville 6-3 Monday.

Dakota Boulet drove in two runs, while Austin Lyons and Meechie Brown added two hits each.

Jake Cogar had two RBIs and Brian Gore went 2-for-3 for Fayetteville (7-6).

Liberty (8-1) will host Richwood at 5:30 p.m. today, while the Pirates go to Independence, also at 5:30 p.m.

OAK HILL — Wes Stowers had three hits and the game-winning RBI to lead Oak Hill.

Daniel Pritt added two hits and a RBI for Oak Hill.

Ray Sullivan pitched the eighth inning to get the win after Chris Hysell threw seven solid innings.

Logan Wriston smacked two doubles and drove in two runs and Hunter Greco had two hits for the Flying Eagles.

Oak Hill (4-6) plays at South Charleston at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

NEW RICHMOND — Wyoming East pounded out 14 hits in rolling past county rival Westside.

Christian Hedinger had three hits and drove in four runs, while Austin Canada smacked a double and drove in three runs for the Warriors.

Zach Whitten added two hits and an RBI and Brian Lusk had a hit and two RBIs.

Derek Thornton was the winning pitcher, combining with Jonathan Cullicerto to give up just two hits.

Dakota Bailey accounted for the lone Renegade run with a home run in the second inning.

Wyoming East (5-3) travels to Mount View today.

SMITHERS — Druw Bowen went 3-for-3, including his second home run, and had three RBIs as Valley defeated Van.

Raeshawn Breckenridge had a double and a triple and Cody Winter went 2-for-3 for the Greyhounds (9-4). Breckenridge and starter Drew Jones combined for 12 strikeouts and held the Bulldogs to three hits.

Valley will host Buffalo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

RICHWOOD— Nick Boggess had two hits, two RBIs and scored three times to lead Greenbrier West past Richwood.

Chase Harless added a double and three RBIs and Caleb Hamrick had a double for the Cavaliers.

Dustin Yoakum picked up the win, combining on a two-hitter with Harless.

Craig Nicholas drove in the run for the Lumberjacks.

Greenbrier West (3-5) travels to Nicholas County Thursday.

FAIRLEA — Mackenzie Milam drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning and Michelle Snodgress brought in two insurance runs as Class AAA No. 8 Shady Spring defeated Greenbrier East.

Greenbrier East scored twice in the bottom of the inning, but the Tigers held on to raise their record to 7-0.

Alexis DeMoss was 3-for-5 with a double for Shady. Sierra Richmond and Kelsey Robertson added two hits apiece.

The Spartans got two hits each from Heather Vallandingham, Melanie McIntire, Victoria Krystynak and Lindsey Bradley.

Shady will visit Oak Hill at 5:30 p.m. today.

OAK HILL — The Oak Hill Lady Red Devils rallied from four runs down by scoring five runs in the final two innings to defeat Independence.

Tiffany Workman drilled a double in the bottom of the seventh inning to send the winning run to the plate for Oak Hill.

Tempest Bickford had three hits, including a double, while Morgan Harrah and Laura Bragg had two hits apiece.

Ciera Workman fanned eight Patriots and gave up just two hits to get the win.

Oak Hill (2-3) hosts Shady Spring today.

Sam Pauley gave up just five runs total from the mound and picked up both wins as Liberty swept a doubleheader from Woodrow Wilson in Glen Daniel.

In the first game, the Lady Raiders exploded for 14 hits. Andrea Roles collected three hits, Stephanie Griffith had two hits and Pauley added in double in the win.

Game 2 saw Liberty take advantage of five Woodrow errors and the strong pitching of Pauley to capture the win.

Morgan Drennen led the Lady Raiders with two hits.

Jahnae McDowell collected two hits to lead Woodrow Wilson.

Liberty (2-6) hosts James Monroe Wednesday.
