Colby Ennis scored 21 points, including four 3-point field goals in the second half, as the Cavaliers toppled Class A No. 9 Tygarts Valley to garner fifth place.

Josh Martin added 18 points for Greenbrier West.

Brett Griffith tallied 21 points — all on 3-point goals - to pace Tygarts Valley (13-4).

Playing without two regulars, Fayetteville fell behind early before fighting back to claim 15th place in the tourney.

Zach Semple poured in 30 points, including 13 in the second quarter, to pace the Pirates’ attack. Will Dooley chipped in 10.

Jack Wells tallied 18 and Triston Kocher 13 for Valley Wetzel.

Fayetteville (3-13) plays at Montcalm today.

PikeView ‘Think Pink Night’

PikeView High School’s girls basketball team will hold Think Pink Night for cancer awareness tonight at the school during its 7 p.m. game with Wyoming East.

Lady Panthers senior Hope Nester will be honored for scoring her 1,000 career point Friday against Summers County.

On Wednesday, PikeView will host Shady Spring for Parent and Grandparents Night at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday is PikeView Senior Night, with a girls and boys doubleheader against James Monroe, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
